What is EMTT?
Extracorporal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT®) is a non-invasive, evidence-based procedure developed specifically for the treatment of degenerative joint disorders, acute and chronic pain, and sports injuries. EMTTR opens up new possibilities in regeneration and rehabilitation. EMTT® uses high-energy magnetic pulses transmitted to the affected areas of the body. Due to the high oscillation frequency, EMTT® enables a high penetration depth and covers a large range of indications.
What disorders can be treated?
Health care professionals are using EMTTR to successfully treat musculoskeletal issues:
- Degenerative joint disorders – Wear and tear conditions such as osteoarthritis (knees, hips, hands, shoulders, elbows), herniated discs, spondylarthrosis
- Pain treatment – (Chronic) pain, for example, back pain, lumbago, tension, radiculopathy
- Sports injuries – (Chronic) inflammation of tendons and joints, tendon overuse syndromes, inflammation of the pubic bone
Elective Payment and Insurance
Insurance typically does not cover the EMTT® procedure, however, the Elective Payment option allows you to have all the benefits of an EMTT® procedure at a very affordable price. Often there can be significant savings to you through the Elective Payment option as compared to paying deductibles, multiple co-pays, and other non-insurance covered surgery, post operative surgical care and rehabilitation. This non-invasive option will be particularly appealing to those patients who are eager to return to work or normal activities in only a few days with just as good, if not better, clinical results compared to traditional treatment methods, including surgery.
How much does it cost?
For most patients, the Elective Payment out-of-pocket costs are much less than you would expect. Your physician can provide a personalized pricing program. Some patients can use their employer’s “Flexible Payment Medical Savings Account” to cover these out-of-pocket expenses with pre-tax dollars.
How can I get more information? Your medical professional is the best person to talk with if you have questions or concerns about the EMTT® procedure. He or she has extensive knowledge and specialized training on all aspects of its use, safety and effectiveness.
